Kuwait National Day Celebrated by Diplomatic Missions Abroad

Kuwaiti embassies from around the world continue to hold gatherings in celebration of Kuwait’s 57th National Day, 27th Liberation Day, and His Highness’ Amir Sheikh Sabah Al- Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah’s 12th Anniversary of His ascension to throne. The National Day celebrations were held starting Feb 25 to Feb 26.

Offices of the Kuwaiti embassies from Ghana, Los Angeles, and South Korea saw their respective diplomats deliver congratulatory speeches for His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah, and the citizens of Kuwait during the opening celebrations of the National day. They also took this opportunity to express their well-wishes for the prosperity and welfare of the State of Kuwait.

Kuwait’s National Day Celebrations Observed By Kuwaiti Nationals All Over the World

The diplomats, which include Ambassador to Ghana Mohammad Al Failikawi, the General Consul in Los Angeles Faisal Al-Houli, and Kuwaiti Ambassador to South Korea, Bader Al-Awadhi all expressed their thanks and homage to their host countries for their well-wishes and support to Kuwait. The diplomats, together with their senior consulate counterparts who attended the National Day Celebrations held by each embassy, affirmed to do everything in their power to further strengthen their bilateral ties.

On the other hand, the National Day Festivities back in Kuwait saw thousands of people flocking the iconic Gulf Arabian Street to welcome the monumental national event last Feb. 25.

Majority of the people who paraded the streets were children who wore outfits bearing the colors of the Kuwaiti flag which created a remarkable scene of joyous cheers and celebration of the citizens and residents of the Gulf State.
