Kuwait non-residents won’t be allowed entry into the state in the foreseeable future.
On Saturday (February 20), Kuwait’s Civil Aviation Authority announced that it was going to extend its entry ban for non-Kuwaiti nationals indefinitely. The move was made as part of the government’s measures to curb the spread of COVID-19.

The entry ban, however, exempts medical personnel from both the public and private sectors. It also exempts members of diplomatic corps together with their immediate relatives and domestic workers as per the Kuwaiti News Agency (KUNA).
It further clarified that only citizens will be allowed entry to the country. Further, each returning citizen will be spending one week in quarantine at a hotel and will have to spend another week at their home.
In line with this, all passengers on incoming flights to Kuwait should first register through the government travel platform https://kuwaitmosafer.gov.kw.
As per the government’s latest advisory, the country has had 862 new cases, 934 recoveries and five deaths in the past 24 hours.
