Philippine Embassy Weekend Event to Offer OEC, SSS, Pag-IBIG, and More Government Services at Dolphin Hotel

The Philippine Embassy in Kuwait, together with other government agencies such as the Migrant Workers Office (MWO), OWWA, SSS, and Pag-IBIG, will hold yet another special weekend services event at the Dolphin Hotel in Salmiya on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Filipinos in Kuwait who have been putting off an OEC, OWWA, SSS, or Pag-IBIG transaction may get the chance to finish it on a weekend. The services will run for five hours and will be held alongside the “Orientation on Skills Training and Employability Promotion and Upskilling (STEP UP) Program and Ceremonial Signing of E-Card Partnership.” Filipinos in Kuwait may avail of consular, membership, and medical services during the event.

The event comes as many workers juggle limited days off and long queues at the Embassy. It will also feature the STEP UP orientation on skills training and employability, along with the ceremonial signing of an E-Card partnership. The advisory was released by the Philippine Embassy in Kuwait through a post on its official Facebook page.

What You Can Process

OFW attendees may complete specific transactions during the event. The following services will be available on site:

The Embassy did not state whether appointments are required. Workers planning to process documents should bring valid identification and any supporting papers for their transaction. So, if you need to renew your OWWA membership or update your SSS records, this weekend event schedule could save you a trip to the Embassy on a working day.

Appointment and E-Card Details Still Unclear

The Embassy did not say whether walk-ins will be accepted. Several Filipinos who commented on the post asked if they could go without an appointment, while others raised concerns about possible long lines.

Questions about the OWWA E-Card also came up. Although the event includes the signing of an E-Card partnership, the advisory does not confirm whether E-Card registration or issuance will be available at the venue.

PhilHealth and Philippine National ID registration were not included in the list of services. Workers with those concerns should check with the Embassy before making the trip.

Come Early if You Need SSS Help

Comments on the Embassy’s post suggest that SSS transactions at the Embassy can draw long queues. One commenter who previously went for an SSS update and payment said she arrived before 8:00 a.m. and still encountered a long line.

That experience does not guarantee the same situation at Dolphin Hotel, but it is a useful reminder for those with time-sensitive documents. With services limited to five hours, arriving early may be the safer option.

Before You Go

For confirmation on appointments, requirements, or specific transactions, call the Embassy at +965 6500 2612.

Bring a valid ID and any supporting documents related to your transaction. If you need OEC, contract verification, OWWA renewal, SSS, Pag-IBIG, or overseas voting assistance, Dolphin Hotel in Salmiya will be the place to go on October 24.
