Kuwait – A Filipina expatriate in Kuwait was taken to the hospital after reporting that she had been assaulted inside her residence, while authorities later arrested an Egyptian expatriate in connection with the case.

The incident came to the attention of authorities after the Operations Department received a notification from South Nugra Clinic about a woman who arrived in a severely distressed condition.

Woman Brought to Clinic in Distressed State

According to a report from Arab Times, security patrols immediately responded to the clinic after receiving the alert. There, officers met the woman, identified as a Filipina expatriate born in 1973.

She reportedly told authorities that an Egyptian expatriate had assaulted her inside her residence. Following the initial report, the woman was transported by ambulance to a hospital for further medical examination and treatment.

The case has drawn attention among members of the expatriate community, particularly overseas Filipinos in Kuwait, due to the seriousness of the allegation and the speed of the police response.

Suspect Arrested After Investigation

Based on the same report, investigators from the Nugra Investigations Department quickly launched an inquiry into the incident.

Authorities were later able to identify and arrest the suspect, an Egyptian expatriate born in 1982, within a short period after the complaint was reported. He was subsequently referred to the competent authorities for further legal action.

At this stage, the matter remains under investigation, and final findings will depend on the outcome of the legal and judicial process.

Case Still Under Review by Authorities
